Tradition. Family. Friends. Devotion. Vocation. A wide range of words could describe our winery, Adegas Valmiñor, because we are a wide range of things that lead into the same passion, our wines. The winery was first stablished in 1997, but our how-to-do tradition is ancestral. We love the Albariño grape, we love our land and all that it gives to us. We respect it and take care of it because it is our legacy. It is our life. We own 35 hectares of vineyards in O Rosal valley. This valley is located in the south of the Rías Baixas (Galicia), by the mouth of the Miño River in the Atlantic Ocean and by the frontier with Portugal. It is one of the five sub-zones of the Rías Baixas appellation. Mild temperatures, abundant rainfalls, low altitude, Atlantic influence, Miño river influence... O Rosal, without big thermal oscillations and with a great mineral richness in its soils. It has excellent maturations conditions, what becomes this valley into the perfect place to grow high quality varieties. In Adegas Valmiñor we aspire to be at the national wine forefront. This is sustained by a carefully selection of lands and vineyards, taking an exquisite care of the grapes and applying the most advanced technologies to elaborate a wide range of wines with their own personality which do not disappoint to even the most knowledgeable palates.
