VINTAGE: Mild winter followed by extremely dry spring and summer with high temperatures. Production reduced by half VINIFICATION: Separate fermentation of the different grape varietals, maceration of about 20 days and malolactic fermentation in cement AGING: About 18 months in French barriques of tonnellerie’s selected for this wine. 60% new and 40% second-passage wood - TASTING NOTES: Great impact on the nose, black berry fruit, spices, well integrated wood, chocolate and coffee. Soft and round palate with an excellent acid boost. Firm but soft tannins. Powerful and explosive
