About
Bartinney is situated on the high slopes of Helshoogte Pass and overlooks the picturesque Banghoek Valley in Stellenbosch. Owners Michael and Rose Jordaan repurchased the 30Ha family farm in 2016. Biodiversity , sustainable farming and conservation is their philosophy , creating an ideal environment to craft the estate wines. The 17 ha of vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, (12ha) Chardonnay (4ha) and Sauvignon Blanc(1ha) The winged figure on our logo, which we call Elevage, symbolizes the French art of the maturing and ascension of a wine to express its noble traits.
