Description

Deep red rounded colour with bluish edges with an aroma of ripe prunes, dry fruits and subtle notes of vanilla. A sweet entrance, good structure, racy ad full-bodied tannins. With a lingering finish with mint notes.

Vinification

Traditional winemaking methods were used, including a three-day cold pre-fermentative maceration. Fermentation took place in concrete tanks without epoxy coating. Pumping over and manual punching down were carried out to maximize maceration. Fermentation took place at 25 °C.

Soil Type

Sandy loam with pebbles, medium-low fertility. Low percentage of organic material. Good drainage and low salinity.

Rested in oak barrels for 15 months.
