Bodegas Carramimbre was founded in 1997 by 3 friends born in Peñafiel (Valladolid). The cellar is situated in “the Golden Mile” of DO Ribera del Duero, in a village called Peñafiel. The special soils, that were the channel of the Duero river thousands of years ago, are taken as an advantage by our vineyards to produce grapes with the aromas and flavours of the grape Tempranillo. We produce red wines made from Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon and we commercialize a white wine made of Verdejo from DO Rueda. Since CARRAMIMBRE wines were born, the quality has been increased vintage by vintage.
