Deep shiny cherry-red colour. Elegant ripe red fruit aromas and spiced notes on the nose (black pepper). It has very elegant and well integrated wooden notes that does not hide the intense fruit components. It is well-balanced, silky but structured, with elegant soft tannins and a good acidity. Vineyard
CONTINENTAL CLIMATE Cold winters / Hot dry summers. Extreme day / night thermal difference which helps in the correct ripening of grapes. 3.000 hours of sunshine a year. Average rainfall rate of 250-300 litres / sqm, that occurs in autumn and spring mainly. SOIL CHARACTERISTICS Poor limestone soils mainly. In some areas, a higher sandy component may appear. Water permeates fast, so vines grow their roots deep when seeking moisture and organic sediment.
