Bodegas Valdemar is a 5th generation family winery with 130 years of history. Based in Rioja Alavesa it owns around 300 ha of vineyards in the three Rioja sub-regions. Combining tradition with innovation, as well as practicing sustainable agriculture, it produces 3 wine ranges in Rioja: classic Conde Valdemar wines, parcel micro-vinifications with indigenous grapes such as Maturana and Graciano, as well as Finca del Marquesado wines. In the heart of Ribera del Duero it produces Fincas Valdemar wines. In 2019 its boutique winery Valdemar Estates opened in Walla Walla, Washington state, USA.
