Description

The territory of Villamagna is at the heart of the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo production area, and is unique in the Abruzzo region, because the position of Villamagna, almost equidistant from the Adriatic Sea and Mount Majella, is very favorable to viticulture. In particular, the combination of breezes from the sea and protection from the Apennines generates a remarkable microclimate with high temperature ranges between day and night, especially during the summer. In winemaking, one of the effects of this microclimate is a high concentration of primary aromas.
