Casal Thaulero is a winery based in Ortona , in Chieti Province, where the rolling hills of Abruzzo meet the Adriatic Sea. In 1968, Casal Thaulero was the first Abruzzese cooperative to bottle and export wines with Protected Designation of Origin in the NAFTA countries. In this unique terroir, the vineyards are caressed by the sea breeze and by mountain currents, creating a variety of microclimates that are ideal for vine growth. we poduce indigenous varieties from Abruzzo like Montepulciano and also international varieties.
