Created by Pierre Castel with his brothers and sisters in 1949, our company is still 100% family owned and offers a complete range of successful wines. With 20 Châteaux and Estates, mainly in Bordeaux, the Castel family exercises his strong knowledge to bring Bordeaux to the 21st century with up-to-date wines and reveals great partnership with other key fine wines owner. Castel also owns 50% of the legendary Chateau Beychevelle Grand Cru Classé in Saint Julien. We are also present in others wine growing regions and especially in Provence where Chateau Cavalier produces amongst the finest rose wines.
This rosé category is the best performing in the UK and we decided 3 years ago to focus our development into this category. To complete our range and to demonstrate our know-how on Rosé, we develop a full range of wine in order to answer every consumer need: Maison Castel, Masfleurey, Aimé Roquesante, Calandières… Our current performance proves our leadership on this category on the UK market.
