About
Celler Masroig, founded in 1917, it’s currently one of the most celebrated wineries of the DO Montsant (Priorat county). Our aim is to make a great product whilst still paying homage to our traditions. We work hard and long on our red clay soils to transmit the values which are the foundation blocks of our winery. Grenache and Carignan are the local grape varieties of our area. Even though both are characteristic of our land, at Celler Masroig we believe Carignan to be the foundation of our wines. This direct link to the land marks the difference between loving the land and simply making wine.
