About
Château de Parenchère, whose foundations were laid in 1570 , is situated at the easternmost reaches of the Bordeaux region, bordering the Dordogne department (region of Sainte-Foy-La-Grande). The estate consists of 180 unbroken hectares, including 70 hectares of vines planted on the best plots of the estate and always on slopes. On those chalky-clay soils, Parenchère produces a full range of red, rosé and white wines in Agriculture Raisonnée which are always well-balanced, fruit-driven, and which always display a good density. Thanks to the international press (90 points Wine Enthusiast and elected “Best Buy”, 92 Points James Suckling, Wine Spectator, Parker, Decanter, Gold Medals at the Concours de Bordeaux and Paris, Coup de Coeur at the Guide Hachette…), Parenchère enjoys today a good reputation of great value for money in over 30 countries.
