Description

This full-bodied and full-flavoured shiraz is from Australia's iconis Barossa region and comes laden with expressive falvours of ripe berry fruits, chocolate and spearmint. While full bodied and spicy on the pallate, it is engagingly smooth textured, with an elegant and harmonious finish.

Vinification

Grapes de-stemmed but not crushed, spending 10 days on skins in 3 ton stainless steel open fermenters.  Average temperature during fermentation approximately 28 degrees. 

Vineyard

Sourced from a selection of vineyards throughout the Barossa Valley.

Viticulture

The grapes were sourced from premium vineyard sites situated within the diverse subregions of the Barossa from vines of up to 20 years old.

Maturation

Seasoned in a combination of French and American barrels for up to 14 months.

Food Pairing

Serve with char-grilled ribeye steak or a hearty lamb stew.
