A long tradition, a reflection of many years of experience and expertise in wine production, guarantees excellent wine. That is what the name "Dagernova" stands for; it can be traced back to a Franconian settlement by the Ahr river in the 8th century, today's small town of Dernau, where the Dagernova wine manufactory is based. The name Dagernova, rather than Dernau, was deliberately chosen in reference to the more than 1000-year-old wine-making tradition. The quality promise: Top quality, 100% hand-picked harvests in the steep vineyards above the Ahr river
