Domaine les Caizergues is a 30 hectare vineyard situated in the foothills of the Cevennes, some 25 miles north of Montpellier. Enjoying an altitude of 160m and thus exciting diurnal temperature differentials, the AOP Terrasses du Larzac estate was taken over in 2017 by two British entrepreneurs, Bob and Pat Middleton, who are passionate about further developing its potential to produce top quality wines representative of their distinctive terroir. Conversion to organic production began in January 2018 so the estate is now well on its way to formal organic accreditation.
