<p>Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea is one of the twelve domains that King Carol Ist of Romania received under administration in 1884, and the only one suitable for vine growing.In 1906, a four levels, cutting-edge technology winery was built, using with a gravitational flow providing wines for the Royal family until 1948. In 2002, the vineyard and the winery were bought by the Anghel family. The structure of the vineyard returned to its original shape – 60% red grapes, 40% white grapes.</p>
