Edizione Cinque Autoctoni 2016
Italy, - Non-regional
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Sangiovese, Primitivo, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera Lunga
Description
The project of Edizione Cinque Autoctoni is very ambitious: first, there are chosen two representative areas, Puglia and Abruzzo, secondly, it is tried to make a wine from native grapes only, ignoring the contributions proposed by Bordeaux convenient shortcuts. A choice clearly thought out and weighed, but implemented for the simple fact that they wanted to enhance our wine heritage. All this has led to the assembly of Montepulciano, Primitivo, Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera and Negramaro, harmoniously and wisely measured by Filippo Baccalaro, winemaker of Farnese.
