About
In 1998, the Fuentes Family decided to establish Finca Río Negro, to bring back the famous but extinct wine tradition since the phylloxera arrived to the region. We are located in the foothills of the Sierra Norte Guadalajara Natural Park, at the unusual altitude of 1.000 meters and 60 kms far away from the nearest vineyard, what make us have a unique “terroir”. There are 42 hectares of vineyards in the property, divided in 30 different single vineyards. We are completely state bottled, hand harvest and in conversion to ecologic. Well recognized by international guides and challenges.
