At home in the Rheingau OUR FAMILY HAS A LONG TRADITION IN WINEMAKING, G OING BACK TO 1292. PHILIPP ANTON ALLEND ORF LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR TODAY‘S WINE ESTATE IN 1773 . In 1955, we took on the wine estate with a wine-growing area of only 1.5 hectares. We set the course for the future by moving up into the surrounding vineyards and continually expanding our business. Today we cultivate around 70 hectares, making us the largest family-run winery in the Rheingau.
