The foundation of the winery dates back to Ernst Huber who, together with his wife Gerti, also completely reinvented the concept of the Viennese Heuriger in the 1970s: With its various unique decorated rooms and the splendid outdoor dining area, the 'Fuhrgassl-Huber' soon was renowed for the typical 'Viennese hospitality' - unique as the viennese wine itself.
