Gekkeikan’s signature sake is used to make this Taru (“barrel”) Sake. After the sake is pressed, it is matured in cedar wood casks for up to 2 weeks, carefully monitored to produce just the right amount of flavor. The result is a invigorating, fresh wood aroma on top of the smooth umami-rich body of the sake.
