Glyndwr Vineyard is the oldest and largest established vineyard in Wales. The current owners pioneered the revival of viticulture in Wales, establishing Glyndwr Vineyard in 1979, making it the oldest family estate in Wales. With the experience of 35 years playing an important role in the current success and reputation of the vineyard, the owners have built up an extensive network of outlets throughout Wales including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, the Celtic Manor Resort, Glen-yr-Afon Hotel, and numerous family run delis from St David’s in Pembrokeshire to Wally’s in Cardiff. Now, two generations are working together blending the vineyard’s heritage with innovation. We are passionate about our home and our surroundings and the important bond between nature and the wine we produce. Our menagerie of chickens, ducks and wild pheasants roam the vineyard, hedges are left to grow wild to encourage bird life and the vines are treated with organic material.
