About
The founder of the company, José Estévez de los Reyes, started his carreer by acquiring the century old bodegas of Félix Ruiz y Ruiz in 1974. In 1982 he purchased Marqués del Real Tesoro, which had been established in 1897. In 1999 the company took over A.R. Valdespino, which was considered to be the oldest bodega in Jerez. In 2007 the group bought Hijos de Rainera Pérez Marín, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, who owned the leading brand of Manzanilla, La Guita.
