About
The family Schmelzer had a long tradition in winemaking – in the northern Burgenland, around the Neusiedlersee(lake) where there is more sunshine than in any other place of Austria. The winery Schmelzer works mainly with(old) Austrian varieties and they are planted on Singular terroir. Through the influence of the Pannonian climate and the extensive amount of varieties, the brothers Horst & Georg Schmelzer produce fine wines of all quality and “Prädikat”(=dessert) categories.
