Quinta do Convento de São Pedro das Águias is a Portuguese property situated in the Vale de Távora and has been integral to the Douro’s history. It dates back to the 12th century, when monks from de Order of Cistercians settled on tis estate located in Tabuaço, creating many of the structures you see in the convent today and contributing to the start of winegrowing in the region. Since 2018, Quinta do Convento de São Pedro das Águias has been part of kranemann Wines Estates and is the jewel in the crown of a new wine tourism project in a unique part of Douro: Vale de Távora.
