Crama Basilescu winery is situated in Romania, Dealu Mare - Muntenia wine region, where it covers 60 ha in Urlati and 40 ha in Pietroasa Buzau. It is the oldest winery in Dealu Mare, over 100 years of history and traditions. The character of the wines from Basilescu Winery withdraws its sap from the specific terroir offered by Dealu Mare and Pietroasa vineyards. The plants of Feteasca Neagra are over 45 years old. The wines are made from the following varieties: Feteasca Neagra, Feteasca Alba, Busuioaca, Tamaioasa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonany, Suavignon Blanc, Riesling.
