Description
Powerful, elegant and complex, Chateau Goudichaud is extremely representative of the Graves de Vayres appellation. The blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon gives to this wine a real ageing potential. You can recognize the taste of liquorice, blueberry, a touch of cacao and a delicate spicy emanation with a slightly woody finish. Ideal with poultry, red meat or Mimolette cheese, and even with chocolate.

Château Goudichaud liegt im Gebiet Graves de Vayres, ebenfalls Graves de Dordogne genannt, da die Kieselsedimente hier von der Dordogne aus dem Zentralmassiv angeschwemmt wurden. Es handelt sich um eine der ältesten Appellationen, einem Insider-Tipp. Das Terroir befindet am Flussufer, gegenüber der berühmten Weinberge von Pomerol, Saint Emilion und Fronsac. Seit drei Generationen im Besitz der Familie Glotin, zählt das Weingut zu den Betrieben, die sowohl für ihre Qualitätsweine als auch für ihre konstante Produktion bekannt sind. Der Cru trägt den Namen des Weingutes und bezeichnet hohen Standard und Finesse.
