About
Bodegas Marqués de Terán was built in 2005 with the purpose of being a unique winery and a reference in red wines from Rioja. Both the winery and the vineyards are located in the Rioja Alta area. More specifically, the winery is located in Ollauri and the vineyards in different towns around the area. It was the first winery in the world to incorporate a geothermal energy in winemaking. We have certified our carbon footprint reduction by 82%, or what is the same, the CO2 emitted into the atmosphere by our energy consumption. Therefore, our winery is officially "eco-friendly".
