About
Meerendal's exceptional wine making heritage began over 300 yrs ago when Governor William Adrian Van Der Stel granted the fertile land to Jan Meerland in 1702. Today we continue to honour our noble heritage with an uncompromising passion and commitment to producing outstanding Artisan wines from vines some over 60 yrs old. Located on the outskirts of Cape Town, we benefit from cool breezes creating ideal conditions for the slow ripening of grapes allowing for the concentration of fruit flavours.
