Description
TASTING Deep cherry colour. At the nose the wine expresses its intensity with notes of red and black berries, eucalyptus and pepper. At the palate the wine is balanced with a strong presence of red and black berries. Silky, fresh and long finish.
AGEING 12 months in French oak barrels of 500 l.
TYPE OF SOILS Rolling stone, gravel and lime. Limestone with silt and alluvium.
VINIFICATION Manual harvest in cases of 15 Kg. Grape selection in the fields and selecting tables before getting the grapes into the winery. Full destemming and soft crushing. Tank filling by gravity. Fermentation by indigenous yeast in wood vats of 100 L. at controlled temperature. Pigeage and wine tracing with peristaltic pump. Maceration of 18 days and malolactic fermentation in wood vat.
