In 1897 the italian immigrant Giuseppe Miolo arrived in Brazil and bought a property in south of Brazil. This property was called Lot 43 and was located in the middle of what we know today as Vale dos Vinhedos. Having produced grapes since the beginning of 1897. Miolo family has found the modern winery and Miolo brand in 1990. In this relative short period of time, Miolo has become the largest international wine group in Brazil.
