Description
The Leithaberg wine-growing area stretches from the Leitha Mountains, the last foothills of the Alps, to Lake Neusiedl. The wines of the Leithaberg appellation are influenced by the warmth of the large, shallow lake and the mountain slopes as well as their mica-schist and marine limestone (Leithakalk) soils. The resulting wines are not opulent and exuberant, but rather deep, firm and mineral - wines that impress with their taut structure and refreshing crispness.
