In the Vinho Verde region where the company headquarter is located, the production is mainly obtained from 3 estates located in the Valongo and Penafiel area, totalizing more than 120 hectares (300 acres) of vineyard from the best recommended white and red varietals for the region. Further south, in Alentejo, the Herdade Penedo Gordo counts on 60 hectares (150 acres) of vineyards with Portuguese and international varieties highly adapted to the region and also 30 hectares of olive trees. In this estate is well implemented the ecological production system (IPM) which promotes the preservation of biodiversity living in the vineyards.
