About Raats Family Wines Raats Family Wines are specialists in the crafting of exceptional wines from Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. It is their mission to consistently produce Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc of outstanding quality from South Africa and to establish these wines as international benchmarks. The Raats family lives for and dreams about these two varieties and passionately produces wines they believe are truly distinct from old vineyards in the Stellenbosch area east of Cape Town. They have earned a reputation internationally as a New World leader in the production of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. About B Vintners Vine Exploration Co A Stellenbosch based wine-making enterprise, which was founded by cousins Gavin Bruwer and Bruwer Raats.  The cousins have an innovative approach, while keeping things simple, nurturing the grapes from vine to bottle and allowing the wines to express their sense of place. We celebrate our heritage in the Cape of Good Hope, crafting wines from historic Cape varieties.   Our exploration of unique vineayrd parcels and vision for the future, takes us on a further discovery, to produce terroir specific wines.  All the vineyards are distinct, in high-lying areas, close tot he ocean and planted on weathered soils. Heritage jelps us to better understand where we have come from, to now make the decisions and follow a path, that leads toa future of hope.
