Vineyard
The »Goldener Wagen« is Saxony’s premium vineyard. First mentioned in the 13th century, the vineyard has been known under its current name since the early 18th century. With its up to 400 year old terrace walls, the Goldener Wagen is still one of the region’s most impressive vineyards which promises top wine quality: the historically protected terrace walls store the warmth which is then continuously passed on to the more than 60 years old vines. The stone soil encourages the formation of deep, strong roots and gives our wines their complexity and minerality.
