The vineyards of Ascre were famous since the second millennia B.C., and the small village of Ascre was well known, in Ancient Greece, for the high quality wines produced from the grapes of Muses Valley, at the South East slopes of Helicon Mountain.
Samartzis Estate vineyards are located in the center of Muses Valley, between two rivers Permissos & Olmios. We highly respect the environment and cultivate our land with the less intervention. This is the core philosophy of Samartzis Estate that helps us express the character of the land in our wines focusing on “one vineyard - one wine”
