Placed in the heart of Chianti Classico region, exactly halfway between Siena and Florence cities, Carobbio property belongs to a very long and interesting history starting around 1300s, it was, then, during the 16th century, owned from the Gherardini family which gave birth to the famous Monna Lisa.The estate spans 50ha of which 16 of vineyards, medium age 30-35 years, that facing south/ south-est, take the most of the sun; the altitude is between 350 and 450 mt a.s.l. and the soil is a mix of stones.
