Under the guidance of Mario Piccini, the fourth generation of the family, Piccini is today one of the most distinctive, dynamic and innovative family owned Italian wine company. 100% family owned and run Piccini is one of the most distributed Italian wine brands, present in over 77 countries in the world. With a total annual production of 14 M bottles, Piccini is on the top 25 biggest Italian wine producers. Chianti Orange Label is the iconic Piccini wine, the dream come true of family’s ambition to make Chianti a contemporary wine. The wines are grounded in tradition yet have an innovative, charming and fun personality, providing a bold and exciting choice for consumers. With four estates in the most important Tuscan area of production, Piccini is among the biggest wine producers in Tuscany, playing a leading role in the production of Chianti, Chianti Classico and Montalcino wines. The family’s philosophy behind the estates is producing wines that reflect the region focusing on expressiveness of the grapes variety in relation with its territory of origin. Fattoria di Valiano is the estate dedicated to production of Chianti Classico Wines in Castelnuovo Berardenga; Tenuta Moraia, located in Maremma Toscana has at its heart Bolgheri production, Villa al Cortile is all about hands-on production of Montalcino wines. Two estates are dedicated to production of volcanic wines: Regio Cantina estate (Basilicata) is centered on Aglianico Del Vulture wines and Torre Mora, located in the production area of Etna DOC, in Sicily is all about nerello mascalese wines.
