Founded in 1964 and located in the beautiful Marche region, Moncaro is a co-operative with 1,100 members, who cultivates a total of 1,700 hectares of vineyards managed by using integrated farming methods. 350 hectars are certified Organic, this makes Moncaro one of the 'greenest' wineries in Italy. The co-operative owns three wineries situated in the main viticultural areas of the Marche: Montecarotto, Camerano and Acquaviva. This allows the winemaker Giuliano d'Ignazi and world-famous consultant oenoligist Riccardo Cotarella creating wines which retain the individual identity of each area
