About
Padre Azul is double distilled from roasted agave, and bottled without maturation or aged in bourbon barrels. The name 'Azul' refers to the Blue Weber agave, and you'd be forgiven for thinking that 'Padre' means father. However 'Padre' actually comes from the popular Mexican saying, 'que padre', meaning how fantastic or wonderful! Also, there's a skull atop the bottle. Which is the Mexican sign for everlasting friendship! Good set of teeth on it and all. Probably the smoothest Tequila on earth. Salud compadres!
