About
Urban Kaufmann and his wife Eva Raps took over the VDP winery in Rheingau region in 2014. In addition to Riesling, Kaufmann has a clear focus on excellent Pinot Noirs. Biodynamics was the logical step for the Kaufmann winery to produce powerful, resistant and healthy grapes. 2017 is the first vintage to be certified by Demeter.
