About
The cellar gathers 49 winemakers cultivating alltogether a terroir they love. They aim to produce qualitative wines and spirits which perfectly reflect the identity of their island. Our guidelines are : human values, cooperation, craftmanship, dynamism and authenticity. We exploit 320 hectares throught an innovative and sustainable agriculture. The vineyards are spread all over the island, from North to South. This diversified portfolio of terroirs is an asset for the elaboration of authentic wines and spirits which enhance naturalness and uniqueness of the island. Our cellar stands out through the ambivalence of its devotion to new ways of communication and its will to respect an authentic heritage, built on its terroir’s diversity and on the organoleptic qua-lities of its wines and Cognacs. This transmission of heritage is built on a long-term mindset. Indeed, we, Les Vignerons d’Oléron commit in respecting environment, but also as an important actor in Marennes-Oleron region, we commit in an economic and social aspects.
