Wine has been a Serena family affair since 1881. In italy Serena Wines 1881 has been leader in wine in keg production for 30 years. The company produces more than 400,000 hl of wine of which 180,000 hl in kegs. The customer can choose from a wide range of wines including DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) and DOCG (Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin), IGT red and white wines, both in barrels and bottles, with different brands. The corporate management is now in its fifth generation under the guidance of Giorgio Serena, helped by his son Luca Serena.
