Description

At release, the wine is a pale straw colour with a slight green hue to the edge. with delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and asubtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. The palate has fresh flavours of stone fruit combined with cashews and an underlying toastiness from the barrel fermentation to deliver a mouth-filling, enjoyable wine. It has a clean, elegant palate, a zesty acid backbone and a long, persistent finish. This wine can be enjoyed upon release but will reward careful cellaring up to and possibly beyond 2014.
