Michael Beck, one of the „new generation“ German wine makers. The 29 hectares of the Winery Beck Hedesheimer Hof are mostly deep clay to loamy loess and calcareous soils an planted primarily Riesling and the Burgundy family of white and red grape varieties. From these they produce seductive, substantial and long lasting white wines and powefull reds.

To detach from the crowd it is important to be individual and consistent. He knows his vineyards and the soils and relies on the traditional grapes which are planted since the last hundreds of years and fitt to the terroir and the climate.
