About
Weingut Gabel is a family owned winery with a long tradition back to 1655. For generations, we have been managing our vineyards sustainably and as naturally as possible. Based in Herxheim am Berg, the highest elevated village on the German wine road, we produce Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. The must matures slowly in more than 100-year-old oak barrels into wines of the highest quality. We make wines the way we like them most: clearly-structured, with a mineral character, which shows the terroir of our limestone-soils.
