About
The aristocratic house Neipperg has been linked to winegrowing for over 750 years. Count Neipperg is said to have brought the Lemberger to Germany in the 18th century. From this point of view, this sophisticated variety entered its triumph at the beginning of the twentieth century: as a German red wine, which can easily reach an international standard: strong, full-bodied & with good tannins. The classic grape varieties of the region, vinified dry matured in the huge wooden barrels in the castle cellar –that has always been our style.
