Description
Tasting note: Rich and elegant nose of peaches, blackcurrant and pineapples. Refreshing but balanced acidity defines the palate, again with plenty of fruit. This Riesling is easy to sip with a nice grip of minerals in the finish.
Vinification: The hand-picked grapes were crushed carefully and the must partly fermented with indigenous yeasts. After a long and cool fermentation the wine is filtered carefully and bottled 5 months after harvest. To preserve the wines character wine treatment during vinification is kept to a minimum.

Vineyard
The grapes for this wine were sourced from vineyards in the steep slope of Piesport. Perfect exposition to sunlight, a mild microclimate and the fine and deep slate soil provide the basics to make a classic Mosel Riesling.
Viticulture
Fermented at cool temperatures with wild yeast in steel tanks followed by 3 months of ageing on the fine lees.
Food Pairing
Delicious to drink young as a fresh and playful summer wine, this Riesling has potential to improve with up to 5 years of cellaring. Serving: Served at 8-10°C this wine will make a good partner for any meal that does not need a bone dry white for company. Great with seafood and spicy dishes.
