Heinrich Hartl is a leading producer in Austria’s Thermenregion. Its terroir shows parallels to Burgundy, though top wines still meet reasonable prices. The Hartls’ 16 ha (40 ac) of vineyards are spread rather far, allowing to grow what works best in specific sites.
