About
The winery Nehrer is a family business in Eisenstadt am Leithagebirge and cultivates about 21.5 hectares. The first vineyards date back to the 16th and 17th century and are located at the southeast slopes of the Leithaberg, all around Eisenstadt. The main varieties are Blaufränkisch, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, Merlot and Welschriesling . Every year about 70.000 liters are produced with a very low yield per hectare, working for the best Quality possible. A constant pursuit of improvement and perfection is a prerequisite for winemakers to produce typical, elegant and characterful wines.
